About Marlaine

I was born in Scotland and come from a long line of mediums or ‘fey folk'.  We were brought up to believe in fairies, angels and spirit folk. As a child I was aware of my abilities but chose to ignore them so that I wouldn’t be different to the other children. It was only after my parents passed over in 1998 that I decided to develop my abilities to contact my mum and also to help others contact their loved ones in the spirit world.  Since then I have become a Reiki Master, Colour Therapist, Energy Healer, Animal Healer, Past Life Hypnotherapist, Clairvoyant-Medium and Spirit Artist.

I began practicing professionally in 1999 as well as being a full-time bookkeeper in the corporate world, but I received so much satisfaction from helping others that in 2008 I decided to work full-time for myself and spirit. Apart from the spiritual work, I am also an authorised civil marriage celebrant available for traditional or spiritual weddings, commitments, renewal of vows, baby name givings, and funerals.

Qualifications: Cert. Past Life Hypnotherapy, Cert. Spiritual Medium-ship, Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master/Teacher, Seichim Reiki Master, Dip. Colour Therapy, Cert. Indian Seated Massage, Cert. Tibetan Sacred Sound Therapy, Cert Marriage, General & Funeral Celebrancy.

I have studied at Nature Care College, Academy of Applied Hypnosis, the Hills Spiritualist Centre, Spiritual Venturer's Association, Shirley Darby's Academy of Colour, Jan Pritchard (Reiki) and many other workshops/courses that I have been drawn to, but my best teachers are the wonderful, giving, spirit beings that I am blessed to have in my life and you.
